What we collect, and how to delete it.

ScoutPipe (scoutpipe.com) uses this page to understand a data task and send it to the team. There is no account and no payment in this version. Last updated 6 October 2026.

What we collect

The assistant

Messages are processed by an AI assistant so ScoutPipe can ask follow-up questions and draft a plan. When an Anthropic API key is configured, that processing is done by Anthropic. The key stays on the server. When no key is configured, a local preview assistant answers and the messages are not sent to Anthropic.

Who else receives a request

What we don’t collect

ScoutPipe works with business and public data only. The assistant is instructed to decline requests for personal data about private individuals, including lookups by tax ID or social security number, background checks, and harvesting of personal contacts.

How to delete a request

Email [email protected] from the address you used, or name the reference shown after you send a request. We will delete the conversation and contact details from the team inbox and the spreadsheet. We cannot delete copies that an AI provider has already processed under its own retention terms.

How long a chat stays in the browser

The open conversation is stored in session storage on your device so a refresh does not clear it. Closing the tab clears it. We do not set a tracking cookie for the chat itself. Turnstile may set a cookie of its own.
